For starters, we'll be treated to a screening of "A Trip to the Moon," originally released in 1902 and regarded as the very first science fiction movie ever made. As a special treat, we'll have live music accompaniment from local pianist and film enthusiast Gary McGath.
Then, we'll listen in as Orson Welles takes to the airwaves and scares the wits out of America with his rendition of War of the Worlds, originally aired almost 80 years ago to the date: October 30, 1938.
