Event Details

New England Stone Walls has been cancelled due to presenter illness. We have rescheduled for Wednesday, October 30 at 6:30 pm. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.
New England has thousands of miles of stone walls! Join us as Kevin Gardner, author of The Granite Kiss, explains how and why  the ways in which they and other dry stone structures were built, how their styles emerged and changed over time, and their significance to the famous New England landscape. All the while he speaks, he'll demonstrate dry-stonewall building in miniature.

Sponsored by the Plaistow Historical Society and the NH Humanities Council
